Colonial/REVOLUTIONARY WAR Period Handmade HORN LADLE

DESCRIPTION: Really nice, rare handmade, hand carved horn spoon or ladle. This is very unusual, very desirible piece from my early American, colonial period collection.

This has all the attributes and look of a Revolutionary War/colonial period horn item. Individual farmers often made useful items by hand, and horn was an excellent, available material for their use.

VERY nice curve and bowl, and it has nice aged patina to it. Measures about 8" long, and bowl is about 2" diameter. In excellent condition overall. Very nice, unusual item and one of the nicer period items you will find. From a Massachusetts estate sale.

A great item for a collection, for display, for re-enacting use, or as a decorator.
