CYCLADIC THINKING IDOL

Cycladic art encompasses the visual art of the ancient Cycladic civilization, which flourished in the islands of the Aegean Sea from 3300 - 1100 BCE. Along with the Minoans and Mycenaeans, the Cycladic people are counted among the three major Aegean cultures. Cycladic sculptures are highly stylised, almost modern-looking, and work well in contemporary environments. Our collection of Cycladic figures are reproductions of originals in the National Archaeological Museum in Athens and in the Museum of Cycladic Art in Athens. (ΣΚ15-NEW)
