Norman Whiteside is the former Northern Ireland international footballer who played in two World Cups. He played both as a midfielder and as a striker. Norman began his career at Manchester United and quickly becoming a key member of the side. He scored 68 goals in 278 league and cup appearances for the club over the next seven years, picking up two FA Cup winners medals in 1983 and 1985. Norman holds records as the youngest player to take part in a World Cup, the youngest player to score in a League Cup and FA Cup final, and the youngest player to score a senior goal for Manchester United. Norman won 38 caps for Northern Ireland.
Samuel "Sammy" McIlroy MBE is the Northern Irish retired footballer who played for Man United, Stoke City, Man City, Örgryte, Bury, VfB Mödling, Preston North End and the Northern Ireland national team. In a playing career that ran from 1971 thru 1993, Sammy made an incredible 629 league appearances, won 88 caps for Northern Ireland, and won the Football League Second Division Championship, the FA Cup: 1977 and the FA Charity Shield.
