Marked as "New": Kit was most likely opened
if the board does not have a BIOS Recovery feature with the ability to
flash the BIOS from USB, then the BIOS was updated or will be updated
before shipment, because the board will not start is the BIOS is not
updated with an older CPU, before the NEW CPU will operate. This goes for
RAM and GPU's as well. That is why much effort it put into updating &
testing.
Marked as "Used": The original Item was not
returned from the manufacturer after repair. Use most likely less than a
year, from time of issue.
Marked as "RMA": The original Item was
returned from the manufacturer after repair. Used less than three months,
due to our warranty policy on PC's & workstations we build.
Marked as "Cancelled Build": The customer did
not come back to pick up the computer they commissioned. It was broken
down and the time warranted parts listed on eBay. Some show marks and may
have fine hairline swirls that show up in macro photography, from removing
dust/lint that air would not remove.
Marked as "Parts/Repair": Motherboard was mo3st
likely dropped or something was dropped on it or was damaged by carrier
during shipment to the customer.
"Possible DDR4 RAM Issues, you may have."
The manufacturer calls for 2133MHz RAM for this MB. If you
want a higher RAM speed, please buy XMP 2.0 RAM. You can then enter the BIOS
and pick the Speed for the motherboard. XMP Mode 2.0 RAM will eliminate boot
issues. G.Skill RAM is the best RAM I have come to find and they are able to be
more cost effective. They have a very accurate RAM Search Tool on their
website.
DDR3 RAM comes in plain XMP Mode, DDR4 RAM comes in XMP 2.0
& DDR5 RAM is available in XMP 3.0. On this board, the base speed is
2133MHz, when you first boot. When you enter the BIOS, you can set the base
boot speed for the advertised speed you purchased. If you use 3200MHz XMP 2.0
DDR4 RAM for example, it will boot at a stable 2133MHz speed. Then you just
enable XMP Mode and the speed to change to 3200MHz. If the Brand you pick is not set-up correctly
by the manufacturer, you many need to increase the voltage 0.3 Volts. Contact
me and I can walk you through the process, if you do not know how to use
YouTube. Do not increase it more than that. If it is set at 1.35 volts in XMP
mode, change that to 1.38 volts. There are two places it must be set. Let me
know if you need help.
