This Buy It Now sale is for one SME mount headshell, manufactured from lightweight pressed aluminium with attractive black anodised finish. Fitted with silver plated 7N copper cables, sleeved in clear PTFE insulation, terminated with colour coded ends & gold plated connectors. The headshell + cables together weigh a total of 7.33 grams. (this is over 3g less than an average copy of a technics SL-1210 type headshell before any cables are added !!)
This headshell uses the Industry standard headshell barrel size of 8mm diameter X 12mm length, which is compatible with all standard SME type "S" shaped tonearm connectors that use the H4 bayonet mount with a screw collar fitting at the end of the arm ie: the same fitting as found on Technics, Pioneer, Sony, Audio-Technica and many, many other decks which use an "S" shaped turntable arm. This is a high quality item from a major OEM manufacturer that has produced such headshells for large Hi-Fi brand names since the 1970's ! ..Perfect for your vintage or retro turntable.
