Each
and every knot is carefully tied to its warp and weft foundations. These rugs
are produced on hand loom using traditional rug weaving skills passed down over
many generations. The dyes are produced from root vegetables to create the
wonderfully warm colours. This new Oriental hand-knotted carpet is made of
a combination of silk and lamb's wool. The rug contains micro-knots, an example
of traditional hand-crafts of the Indian subcontinent. The rug is thick and
fairly heavy, indicative of the work and quality of materials used, all of
which are natural, except for a portion of the dyes that are used.There can be little variation in the color of
actual product due to light, different LCD contrast or pile of rug. We try our
best to represent actual colors but natural beauty cant be 100% captured
through electronic eye.
