This listing is for a nice antique panel cut glass toiletries bottle/jar with engraved floral Sterling Silver top, c. 1878. The oval bottle has vertical panel cut design around the glass. The Sterling Silver lid fits onto the bottle correctly and is decorated with an elaborately engraved design around the outside border with cartouche in center with overlaid 2-letter monogram "H B". Underside of silver lid is marked with English hallmarks for London, Sterling, year date code for 1895 and with unidentified maker's stamp. This nice bottle was most likely part of a traveling toiletries set that would have been fitted into a wooden travel case. 

The panel cut glass body is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws and the silver lid is also in very good condition with no noted flaws and reflecting only minor signs of normal wear.

Measures 3 3/8" high, 2 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep. Weighs 7.5 ounces (as shown) with the Sterling Silver lid weighing 13 grams.
