Purple and Lilac "Quilled Eyes" Masquerade Mask

This absolutely gorgeous adult-size Quilled Eyes Mask features elegant lilac and purple flowers on a lacquered purple base, with rhinestones providing a sparkling finishing touch. The mask has black ribbon ties attached to each side and will be perfect to wear to a masquerade ball.

Papier-mâché is a light and flexible material, making the mask extremely comfortable to wear. It measures approximately 8.5cm in height and is 20cm long from corner to corner. The elegant and intricate design is sure to turn heads whenever it is worn!

Quilling or paper filigree is an art form, dating back to the Renaissance, which uses coils and shapes made from thin paper strips to create decorative designs. The names derives from the original method of crafting the shapes in which a feather quill was employed as the tool around which the paper strips were rolled. This unique range of beautiful Quilled Masks are made using high quality papier-mâché bases imported direct from Venice, Italy, which are then decorated with handcrafted quilled designs right here in Australia.
