ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The piece that this print is from started with a magazine picture. It captured my attention because of the crazy dynamics going on (alternate working title was: "The Pull of Inertia").
During a rugby game, there is such a mass of bodies, all joined together, by arms, legs, jerseys, whatever. This scrum moves to its own rhythm, and seems to contain both force and stasis.
