DESCRIPTION

Susan Edmonstone Ferrier (1782-1854) was a Scottish novelist whose works explored life in Scotland. She penned three novels: 'Marriage', 'The Inheritance' and 'Destiny'. She is often compared to Jane Austen, and described as Scotland's equivalent female author.

Complete with an introduction by Lady Margaret Sackville.

A limited edition, with only three hundred and twenty-five of three hundred and fifty copies released for sale.


CONDITION

In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just slight bumping to the tail of the spine and extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
