The MAS 36 rifle was the standard issue rifle for the French Army from 1936 until 1967. It is still in use with some African countries today. One of the constants throughout the history of the MAS rifle was the use of this tan leather sling which was standard issue with every MAS rifle.

Those who collect French military surplus will immediately recognize this sling as being distinctly French. The French Army produced many accessories for their military using this grade of leather and tanned it using the same process. What resulted was a soft natural leather that has a Light Brown color and is durable under combat conditions for years to come. These slings are one of the most recognized French military gun accessories, and those who know what they are appreciate how well made and functional they are.

These slings are Heavy Duty Leather in a Tan color which is distinct to French military small arms of the period. They have heavy black stitching and black coated steel buckle and stud. Some have French military contractor stamps on the unfinished side of the leather.

(4) Returned items must be unused and have all ORIGINAL packaging and accessories.
(5) If the buyer fails to fully read the item description, changes their mind, or just does not like the item, the buyer is responsible for return shipping fee and a 20% restocking fee will apply.
