I typically use 5 layers of protection when shipping comics (only 4 layers can be used for multiple comic lots) by doubling up the bags and boards and boarding the comics where the cover also has protection, placing the comic(s) in a bubbled envelope, placing the double bagged and boarded comic into either a custom cut box or a standard comic mailer. I guess what I’m trying to get at is that I’m kind of OCD about storing, protecting, and shipping my comics and if any of my books are ever miraculously damaged during shipping or if I happen to miss a defect, you can rest easy knowing that I will do my best to make things right.
