1960's battery operated tinplate Bell Highway Patrol helicopter, made in Greece by Lyra, most likely under license from Modern Toys / Masudaya, since it appears to be a direct copy.The helicopter measures about 41cm. in length, and maximum width is reached at 8 cm. Stunning and beautiful, all the way, features a clear plastic cockpit (has crack on one side) , with little police officer figures in the interior, a bulb that lights up, has 'bump & go' action, and has very attractive litho illustrations.Regarding condition, the toy is in very bad shape, some signs of deterioration, some scratches, colours have fully retained their brightness, and the battery cavity has some rust. Its' litho illustrations are truly beautiful, there is some scratches and dents. Still a pristine example of this very rare toy, hard to find even in Greece. We don't find these every day, so make sure you don't miss out on this one!
