A fascinating book on the Autumnal season, looking at the various seasonal plants, fruits, and animals to be found from September to November. 

Part of a group where each volume focuses on a different season, published by the Religious Tract Society in 1844. 

With an illustrated title page, five full plates, and various engravings in text throughout.


CONDITION

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally excellent with only minor shelf wear. Contemporary inscription to the front free endpaper, dated 1856. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. With an illustrated title page and five full plates, as well as engravings in text throughout.
