Antique 19thc Parian Figure of “Hebe” after Canova c1860

Delightful Parian Figure after Canova standing 12.25 inches high on a circular base 4 inches across.

A similar Minton figure Shape is number 197 in the Minton Shape book.

The figure is well modelled with crisp detail; the Parian smooth creamy and tactile.

Unmarked as to manufacture but a similar figure can be seen in the Parian Phenomenon page 251 and also on page 103 figure 279. It is also possible to be Robinson and Leadbeater.

The condition is good with just a loss to the bottom of ewer in her right hand and a loss to the top of the goblet in her left hand.
