Description:
This is a set of plaques I acquired at auction in NJ.
I used them as wall art by suspending them by tiny brads in the open spaces.
The copper is chased with designs of women, a sitting man and some trees.
The pieces reminded me very much of metalwork on the front and back of antique book covers.
The pieces are ever so slightly different, leaving me to the assumption these were entirely done by hand.
I don't know the age.
Each piece measures 10.5” x 5.75”. The metal is very thin...less than 1/16” thin.
Condition:
Excellent condition.
Pieces have patina....I have not dared to polish the age from them.
Please examine photos as they are part of the description.
I apologize ahead of time for the cost of shipping. I only ship USPS Priority insured.
