The painting is a composition of three that make up a library of the best Wunderkammer A cabinet of curiosities was an encyclopedic collection in Renaissance Europe of types of objects whose categorial boundaries were yet to be defined. They were also known by various names such as Cabinet of Wonder, and in German Kunstkammer("art-room") or Wunderkammer ("wonder-room").
Antonio Sciacca was born in Catania May 13, 1957. Sciacca has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania and is currentlyProfessor of painting at the Academy of Art and Restoration of Nike Catania. He Lives and works between Catania and Florence. In 1978 he was selected by the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome for the International Exhibition of Modern Art in Glasgow. He graduated with a thesis on Francis Bacon, who he personally interviewed in London at Bacon’s Art studio. Alberto Burri has also become a friend and Patron of his work!!. Both Bacon and Burri expressed positive comments about his artistic abilities.

Antonio Sciacca
Antonio Sciacca was born in Catania May 13, 1957. Sciacca has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts of Catania and is currently professor of painting at the Academy of Art and Restoration of Nike Catania. He Lives and works between Catania and Florence.
In 1978 he was selected by the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome for the International Exhibition of Modern Art in Glasgow. He graduated with a thesis on Francis Bacon, who he personally interviewed in London at Bacon’s Art studio. Alberto Burri has also become a friend and Patron of his work!!. Both Bacon and Burri express positive comments about his artistic abilities.
In the 90s he founded a Bologna-cultural artistic movement called Metropolismo, which addresses current social issues, such as consumerism and the jaws as a status symbol. This movement involved a group of international artists who exhibited their works in Rome at the Flaminio , with the critiques and presence of Omar Calabrese, Renato Minor, Alberto Abruzzese and Valerio Dehò. Among the numerous exhibitions of Metropolismo the most significant was in Madrid (Italian Cultural Institute) in 1995, and that of Rome (Museo del Risorgimento - Victorian) in 2000, with the presentation of Achille Bonito Oliva, the theoretician of the movement. Other art historians who follows the artist commenting on some of his solo shows is Vittorio Sgarbi.
