The board, pieces, and piece holder (piece stand) are all made of wood, and you can comfortably enjoy the sound of the pieces that "click" when you point.
For the pieces, we use the formal typeface "Maki Ryoko", which is popular among professional shogi players. The board is foldable, and the back side is made of cloth instead of hinges, so it won't rattle or damage the desk.
For beginners, an introductory guide that explains how to move pieces, basic rules, how to improve shogi, etc. is included.
