SEAL DRIFT FOR DT SWISS REAR HUBS
Equivalent to DT Swiss part number HXTXXX00N5026S
This drift is designed to allow precise installation of the seal that is found between the hub body and freehub on all DT Swiss 'ratchet' rear hubs, including the 180, 180 EXP, 240, 240s, 240 EXP, 340, 350. It is equivalent to DT part number HXTXXX00N5026S.

This seal has a very thin metal backplate and is easily kinked without the proper tool.  Our drift has a raised rib sized to fit between the lips of the seal, putting pressure directly onto the base of the seal.

The drift has a 15mm hole to allow it to be fitted over the 15mm axle of the hub, ensuring precise alignment with the hub.  The drift is best pressed into place by our over-axle press (the same press needed to install the bearings in a DT rear hub.

Over-Axle Presses

In some hub designs, such as Hope and DT, the axle is installed before the bearings are.  The press then has to fit over the axle.

If you’re pressing bearings on to a rear hub with a protruding axle then you should consider our over-axle press instead of this basic press.

Shipping

We dispatch orders on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  The cut off for dispatch is usually 8am that day.

UK orders are sent by Royal Mail RM24 (First Class).

International orders are welcomed and will be sent by DHL GlobalMail or Royal Mail International Standard (Airmail). These shippers indicate that delivery in Europe should take 3-5 working days and the rest of the world in 5-7 working days, though realistically this is often 5-10 workings days and customs inspections can have an effect.

International orders will pay only once for shipping.  Add two or more pullers, presses or kits to the basket to qualify.

Ebay collects tax on behalf of the EU, Norway, Australia, New Zealand and some US states, so your order should arrive in these countries with no further taxes to pay.
