Russian 30 second split second chronograph stopwatch Slava USSR (1990)

 

·      The Slava stopwatch was designed for the Soviet space program (you can see one inside a Soyuz spacecraft.

·      Movement: Mechanical movement, the serial number is # 298281 with 20 ruby jewels, mono-metallic balance with screws, gilded, Breguet spring, lever movement, long split hand and central seconds hand. 30,000 oscillations per hour, running reserve 24 hours.

 

·      Function: Calculus stowatch with split chronograph hand. Start/stop function activated by crown. Return by pushing button on right. Stop/start of red split chronograph hand activated by pushing button on left while stopwatch continues to run.

 

·      Case: Chromium-plated brass with screwed back, synthetic crystal, silvered metal dial with black numerals and calibrations.

 

·      Size: diameter 65 mm, thickness is 22 mm. Weight: 230 grams.

 

·      The serial number is # 4859828 (on the movement and on the papers).

·      Condition: Good condition - used and with signs of use.
