Authentic cold war relic. In new, unissued condition. Named after Semyon Budenny who founded the Red Cavalry during the Russian Civil War, and modelled on the helmets of ancient Russian Bogatyr warriors.

Foldable ear flaps,

Gold hammer, sickle and Soviet Star buttons,

Red star patch with hammer and sickle pin,

Fully lined except for the ear flaps,

Outer: 100% grey-brown wool,

Lining: 100% viscose
