Lucas 6RA Relay

These were fitted to many British Motorcycles. 

New and unused, old stock, Slightly pitted by being stood in a garage.

These Relays are original and new they are not bright and shiny copies made to look like Original equipment

They are the real thing manufactured in the 1960's by Joseph Lucas & Co.Ltd.

Lucas 12 volt relay. Fitted as standard equipment to many British 1960's vehicles from Rolls Royce to Jaguars to British Leyland and many more.

It is a general purpose electric relay used for auxiliary, additional or special equipment such as fog or spot lamps, overdrive selector, alternator control, etc. Lucas part number D D 1. E N S 8047. This was almost identical to the 33213 but was more robust and fitted with an extra diode. It was actually produced for use on Police vehicles , when they had the Dim / Dip headlamp systems, hence the D D 1 part number.

This relay can also be used with the Lucas Alternator 10 AC and 11 AC Types.

There are 5 Lucar blade connections, W1 and W2 , C1 and C2.

The metal case on some of them are quite pitted, may not look brand new, but they operate as they should.

These original parts are difficult to find.
