based on the world-famous love motif by Robert Indiana
in the format 76 x 76 cm
The item is hand-tufted, meaning the carpet pieces are made from an old one
hand-knotted using traditional techniques from the best Indian wool yarns.
After completion, the surface is trimmed by hand
and a relief worked out.
Each piece is unique and impresses with its brilliant colors and the
cuddly soft dense pile.
The great original of this world-famous work of art
stands in front of the Museum of Art in Indianapolis/USA.
* Robert Indiana was born on the 13th. Born September 1928 in New Castle, Indiana and named
originally Robert Clark. He only changed his name in 1959
American state in which he was born.
Robert Indiana is one of the most famous artists of “Pop Art” and “Signal Art”.
His works consist primarily of numbers, letters and five-pointed stars,
which are condensed to the essentials.
In 1963, Indiana met Andy Warhol and starred in his experimental short film "Kiss"
with and in 1964 the main role in the black and white silent film "EAT".
Robert Indiana's sculpture "LOVE", created in 1966 and made of marble, became world famous.
Aluminum and steel were created and used as a template for screen prints, posters, tapestries,
the love ring as well as for an American one 8 cent stamp served.
