planetarium programs. It connects to the USB port of the computer and to the
RJ9 port of the hand controller.

SkyWatcher SynScan USB PC Interface
Cable is used to connect a laptop or computer to a computerized SkyWatcher
SynScan telescope via a port in a hand controller. The USB connector is
connected to the USB port of your computer. The other end of the cable ends
with a plug with a connector for the phone jack and just snaps into the port on
a hand controller designed for this purpose.
After you have connected your computer
and telescope, you can update the firmware of the manual control. The latest
updates can be found in the support section on the SkyWatcher website.
Connecting a computer to your telescope
will also allow you to move the telescope from different planetarium programs!
Today, there are many programs available that not only display the night sky,
as it appears on any chosen observation night, but this will allow you to send
your telescope to any object on the screen at the touch of a button.
