7" Shoulder plate

For larger doll with socket head - made from poured composition.

I don't really know much about this material - my mom started using this instead of the porcelain. It is lighter in weight than the  porcelain but used the same molds. They had to be painted with a Bisque acrylic paint. You can see in the pics that this shoulder plate was not painted fully on the inside. I doubt it matters for the durability of the piece. Upside is that you can paint this any color you might like it to be.These shoulder plates fit on top of the cloth body of a doll. This one has a 2 1/2" across indentation for the head.  I have no idea what size doll this would make - pretty big it would seem.)
