This bracket system allows you to mount your Samyang/Rokinon 135 f:2 lens + dslr on your equatorial mount, with the possibility to perfectly balance your setup.
Moreover, you can attach a red-dot finder or a mini finderscope atop the bracket thanks to the standard dovetails.
Thanks to the focuser ring and its 2 opposite screws, you can make a fine adjustment of the focus and keep it in position.
Main parts are made of 3D-printed PLA material. Screws are made of steel (assembly of the main parts), polycarbonate and nylon (tightening screws).
The system includes :
- two hinged rings dedicated to the Samyang/Rokinon 135 f:2 lens,
- 1 upper dovetail with female finderscope's dovetail and 11 mm red-dot finder's male dovetail,
- 1 bottom dovetail : choose the type you need among Vixem, Manfrotto 577, Arca-Swiss, or Losmandy,
- 1 focuse ring,
- 1 Bahtinov mask (dewshild cap type).
You can choose the bottom nuts thread : ISO M4, or 1/4" UNC (Kodak)
Dslr, lens and mount not included.
CAUTION
: The plastic material used to print the items has a softening
temperature of 60°C. Under the action of a load, they are likely to
deform if they are exposed to the heat of the sun or any other source of
heat. The items are designed for night use only.
They shall not be stored in the heat of the sun or any source of heat,
otherwise they will deform. Storage of the brackets must be done out of
the sun in a flat position, not mounted on a tripod or a mount.
