Illustrated with in-text illustrations throughout by Quentin Blake. Blake is well beloved for his iconic illustrations of Dahl's novels, the two becoming synonymous.

Dahl is one of the most beloved children's writers of the twentieth century, known for his unsentimental and macabre children's novels, though he wrote extensively for adults too.


CONDITION

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, fine. Marginal edge wear to the dustwrapper, a touch of discolouration to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. In a very bright condition for a children's novel.
