This is a vintage original portfolio of Air World Color Prints issued by the Transcontinental & Western Air, Inc. airline also known as TWA.   There are ten color prints total all contained within the original gray folder cover measuring about 19.75” x 14.75”.   The folder cover is printed:

The prints are all full color photographic prints with a 1943 copyright by Transcontinental & Western Air, Inc. printed in the lower margin along with “Color-print by TWA Airlines” and a separate title for each print.    The prints in this set are titled: 

1. Temple Entrance in Jehol, China 
2. Cerro Gordo, the “Rich Hill” of Potosi, Bolivia
3. The Harbor at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
4. The City Harbor at Juneau, Alaska 
5. An Irrigation Canal near Tanta, Egypt 
6. The Constellation in Flight 
7. St. Basil’s Church on Red Square in Moscow
8. Singapore Harbor, Malay States 
9. The Great Mosque of Meshed, Iran
10. Cape Town University, Union of South Africa 

The folder cover makes reference to a booklet with explanatory notes which isn’t present here but I believe the ten prints are the fully complete portfolio as issued by TWA.  The print for Rio de Janeiro has some dust staining and a bit of wear along the left edge not affecting the image and the prints are otherwise all in very good condition.   This is a vintage original portfolio issued by TWA in 1944.  Email any questions.  Thanks for looking.
