This mesh is strong and would be good for tough applications such as drain covering or finger guards. However the wires are fairly light for holes of this size, so it is more flexible than most mesh types of a similar size.

• Holes / Wires Per Linear Inch = 5
• Holes / Wires Per Square Inch = 25
• Wire Thickness = 1mm
• Hole Size / Aperture = 4mm
• Open Area % = 64.50%
• Cut With - Tin snips, guillotine or something similarly strong. We would use tin snips to cut this mesh.

It is of interest to anyone who needs a strong mesh for any application. You would be able to bend this mesh by hand very easily. Once bent it would hold its shape.

Plain Weave

Plain weave woven wire cloth is used for the majority of wire cloth woven by The Mesh Company. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa.

Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter.

Plain weaves are used for the majority of commercial applications and for filtration where a high flow rate is required.

Tracking details will automatically be sent from Hermes directly. 

We automatically use DPD for anything larger than 1000 x 500mm which is next day.
