SS430 Grade Woven Wire Mesh - magnetic grade 

This is one of our most popular heavy woven mesh sizes. 

The mesh specifications are as follows:

''10 x 0.56mm= 1.98mm / 60.77%''

- 10 mesh = 10 holes per liner inch or 100 lines per square inch

- 0.56mm wire thickness. We would use scissors or tin snips to cut 0.56mm thick stainless steel wire

- 1.98mm hole size (aperture)

- 60.77% open area. This is a pretty open woven mesh structure with a high open area %. 

You would easily be able to bend this mesh by hand.

SS430 grade

SS430 is a magnetic stainless steel grade. Magnets will stick to this grade of metal. 

We cut this mesh with scissors, but tin snips work well too. 

SPeCIFICATIONS

Plain Weave

Plain weave woven wire cloth is used for the majority of wire cloth woven by The Mesh Company. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa.

Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter.

Plain weaves are used for the majority of commercial applications and for filtration where a high flow rate is required.

300 x 300mm, 300 x 400mm (A3), 300 x 400mm (A3) x 3, 500 x 500mm, 420 x 594mm (A2), 594 x 840mm (A1), 1000 x 500mm, 1000 x 1000mm

Tracking details will automatically be sent from Hermes directly. 

We automatically use DPD for anything larger than 1000 x 500mm which is next day.
