Wilwood® D52 Front Caliper Kit (3343C4). This caliper kit provides low-maintenance operation and high temperature reliability for everyday use as well as high-performance applications. D52 two-piston calipers generate a lot of braking force thanks to a pair of machined stainless steel pistons. With Wilwood's D52 caliper kit, there will be no more rust, bore pitting, or seal failures.
Benefits:
Aluminum allows for extremely light weight.
Fixed calipers are smaller and lighter.
Pistons distribute braking force uniformly to the brake pads.
To save weight, pistons are hollow.
Coating that resists heat
Wilwood's floating calipers aren't solidly mounted, so they can move left and right via pins and bushings on the bracket. When you apply the brakes, the piston pushes the entire caliper forward, causing friction from the brake pads on both sides of the rotor. Because floating calipers are lighter, cheaper, and more compact than fixed calipers, they are suitable for most vehicles. This lightweight caliper kit provides excellent braking performance and can be installed on stock-sized rotors in the stock location. The kit's D52 dual piston aluminum calipers have stainless steel pistons and reinforced bridges, making them the strongest replacement calipers available. The forged billet aluminum body saves weight over the original cast iron caliper while avoiding the rust and corrosion issues that plague cast iron parts. When you install this caliper kit on your vehicle, you gain the advantage of two piston pad clamping power. D52 calipers, hardened slide pins, and BP-10 high friction pads are included in the complete kit. This kit's components make it an excellent replacement option for a variety of restricted class competition categories as well as drum to disc conversions on all types of hot rods and street vehicles. If you want to customize the look of your stock or custom wheels, caliper finishes are available.
