Bilstein® B8 5100 Series 46mm Smooth Body Monotube Front Steering Stabilizer (EDB827) 1 per pack Bilstein® B8 5100 (Dual Steering Damper Kit) is a bolt-on auxiliary kit for solid axle 4WD vehicles. This kit includes two steering dampers for improved steering isolation. The dual kit mounts both dampers inline and opposing each other, greatly improving the "on center" feel. The steering dampers included in the kit are a gas pressurized monotube design that will provide fully functional damping in a horizontal position. Because of their design, these steering dampers have the advantage of controlling even the smallest steering movements to reduce steering wheel shake. With the Bilstein® B8 5100 (Dual Steering Damper Kit), you will significantly improve your vehicle's steering feedback and handling. Gas Pressure Technology. Bilsteinmono-tube ®'s gas pressure technology has become a standard in automotive construction over time. This technology involves keeping the oil in the absorber under pressure, which prevents foaming as temperatures and loads rise. As a result, full damping power is retained even when the system is subjected to extreme stress, as seen in the self-lowering piston. Bilstein® has tested it on the road. To achieve that renowned Bilstein® driving experience, Bilstein® engineers rely not only on cutting-edge technology, but also on something that has stood the test of time: how it feels to the driver.
