American Flyer S gauge The Chief freight set no. 5680RH, circa 1956  This set was owned by a very picky collector and has some of the cleanest and nicest engines and cars you will find with clean undersides very little run time.!All couplers,steps present on engines and cars.The Engines and some cars in individual OBs  some as listed below in number stamped reproduction car boxes and also a very nice reproduction set box containing: 4856 (484/485/486) Santa Fe Alco plus this freight set.

#484 Santa Fe PA unit has been serviced,lubed, tested, runs great both directions and lights, Very good condition original box with # 21542 some flaps taped or missing

#485 Sante Fe  PB unit very good condition, tested & works, original box no number Numbered big flaps missing

#486 Sante Fe PA dummy good condition, tested & lights, original box with # 21544 some flaps missing

#981 Central of Georgia boxcar very good condition,present door latches and nibs. in stamped reproduction box

#928 New Haven flatcar with lumber load very good condition with original box flaps torn,parts missing..

#982 Bangor and Aroostook State of Maine box car very good condition good latches and nibs, with stamped repro box.

#919 C.B. & Q. tilting-body dump car very good condition works great!with controller, bag of coal +accessories + instruction sheet.in stamped reproduction box.

#916 Delaware & Hudson gondola very good with five containers original box some tape and torn flaps

#988 Missouri Pacific Lines A.R.T. Reefer very nice in original box missing flaps

#956 Monon flatcar with two hall of science trailers good with original box writing, flaps torn, missing,taped.you can see faint  956 factory stamp.

#977 action caboose very nice works great! in stamped reproduction box

Original instructions and manual Manual is 1954 included, have some wear and tear.. The set has light run time. The individual OBs are worn with some flaps missing. The set box is a very nice reproduction hand stamped correct size and bin.Some boxes A.C. Gilbert had for older sets were by GAIR some by interstate,this is a GAIR stamp. Look CLOSELY at all the pictures as they are part of the description. Sold as used, as is, all sales final.
