Vintage map in excellent condition for its age. Measures approx 39" x 17" . Copyright shows 1942, but there are events dated from 1945 on the actual map.
Significant events from the war are labeled / noted on the countries where they occurred. This map was given to me by my uncle who served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1943. He lived in Chicago and did business with North Town's Check Cashing Service at 2351 Devon Avenue, Chicago, IL the sponsor imprinted on the map.
Please see photos for details. One tear on the seam (pictured) and creasing from being folded for so long. Colors are vivid. An interesting piece of military history! This map would look great mounted and framed.
