This is a gorgeous antique figurine.
It bears gold anchor mark. It is probably made by very early Derby/Chelsea or Samson
It shows a boy with basket of flowers flowers.
The figurine is approx. 10" tall.
It is in very good condition - they have no cracks, or crazing.
There are few small damage to the flowers. One of the basket straps is damaged, the other is repaired - please see the pictures
The Chelsea Porcelain factory was the first important Porcelain many factory in England.
They were well known for their figures from about 1760 and their inspiration was drawn from the French Company Sevres.
The Chelsea factory and the Derby factory eventually merged. This gold anchor period saw these rich colorful grounds and energy of the Rococo style, Some of the finest Hand painted porcelains!
