Vintage Silverplate Revolving Domed Breakfast Warming Serving Dish Buffet.

This is a vintage/antique item ... an oval silverplate serving dish with a revolving domed lid. Inside is a silver plate with vents for I've been told bacon or sausage.  It has floral and  engraved markings on the lid which show on the bottom as it rolls open. The brand/maker has not been identified but it bears some resemblance to similar products made by Elkington. This item is in previously owned but very  good vintage condition.

The dish measures 12" x 9 1/2" and is approximately 8 1/2" tall with the lid closed, and approx. 4 1/2" with it open.
