Made with the latest technology with modern materials, the insulation of this coil has dielectric properties of the such Maytag only DREAMED of! Full epoxy coating and impregnation. Wound per the original Maytag specs to work and fit just like the original. It is designed and engineered to be exactly like the original coil but built on modern cnc machines to ensure many years of service. 

This coil will fit either magneto plate, the 72D or the 72DA.This coil throws a very hot spark!  This coil has been designed to be capable of a spark plug gap of 0.037 or MORE!  Very hot and blue!  We recommend buying a NEW condenser and NEW plugs when putting in a new coils so that everything is matched and properly rated.  Coils are not cheap to make especially not these that have to be hand wrapped!  We are so confident in them we not only put our name on them, we put a LIFETIME Warranty on them!
