Welcome to ANTIQUES & MOORE!

This listing is for an impressive American Brilliant Period cut glass pitcher with a Sterling Silver collar and lip made by Dominick & Haff, c. 1880-1900. The glass is decorated with an elaborate all-over cut multi-pattern design with zipper cut attached handle and large hobstar cut base. The Sterling Silver collar is decorated with a wide band of chased flowers around the lower border and has a fancy 3-letter monogram with the first two initials being "M R" and the third initial being unidentified. The silver collar is marked with the trademark stamp of Dominick & Haff and "Sterling, 485". The Dominick & Haff Company was in business in New York NY from 1868-1928 when they were absorbed into Reed & Barton.

Measures 8 3/4" high (at lip) with a 5 1/4" diameter base. Weighs 3.10 pounds.

This stunning cut glass pitcher is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws to the glass or the silver. You may possibly find a minor no-harm nick on the edge of the cut design however we did not find any and the base reflects only minor signs of normal wear.
