Windows PC USB VHS Video Capture. World: PAL, PAL60, NTSC, SECAM, NTSC, NTSC_M_J
Capture video from your VHS player or MiniDV, Hi8 or VHSC camcorder to your PC over USB.
If
you're using Windows 10/8/7 you can capture using the supplied Arcsoft Showbiz 3.5
and you'll be able to set the video mode to to PAL (UK, EU, Australia), PAL60, NTSC (North America), NTSC433, NTSC_J (Japan) or SECAM (France), you'll
also be able to adjust the colour/contrast/brightness on the capture
chip, live. You must have the correct VHS player for the tape format you're trying to capture from. This USB adapter will capture NTSC US tapes being played on a UK VHS player with NTSC playback in colour (most recent USB adapters can't do that)
This USB adapter will also work with Windows 11, but
you'll have to capture with OBS Studio instead, instructions provided. You can change brightness and contrast and select between PAL, NTSC_M, NTSC_M_J, NTSC_433 and SECAM on the USB device with OBS Studio v30+.
The USB adapter also supports all the various regular PAL (UK/EU/Australia), NTSC (North America/Japan) and SECAM (France) modes, manually selectable, see attached screengrab for full list of supported modes. The EM2860 and Silan 8113 chipset produces clear bright MP4 video captures, stereo audio, and the video and audio stay in sync.
Only for Windows 7/8/10/11 PCs, not for recent Macs (supports older Macs running Mojave or earlier only).
A Scart adapter and 1 metre RCA phono lead are also included, along with instructions and tutorial video.
