A very nice, likely never utilized, great working, Lionel 12958 Re-issue of the classic #193 Industrial Water Tower with Flashing Beacon made for O/027 scale train layouts from 1997-98. 

This tower features the original classic colors with a red metal tower(~14 3/4"), grey plastic base (~ 6" x 6"), green plastic shed and silver-gray plastic water tank with metal ladder. (one change is the beacon color is orange versus the original red beacon).  Lionel also replaced the original style thermostatic switch with a modern electronic circuit board to control the flashing of the incandescent lamp beacon .   

I briefly tested this tower and the flashing beacon works great.  This is a perfect Lionel layout accessory with height & lots of classic visual appeal!  

Can run off track power (flashing beacon lets you know track is energized) or accessory power terminals/source.  

Comes with the original box (may be a bit rough), top insert, Lionel instructions & two hook-up wires and I will wrap & pack with care prior to shipping.
