This is an unusual black satin opaque glass vase or bowl with raised--bas-relief--flowers & leaves in a 3-D effect made of fused glass over painted yellow flowers & green leaves--called "coraline" glass--that produces a brilliant-shining, almost 3-D effect!
Measuring about 5" diameter x 5" tall, this beautiful black satin glass vase was made by the Tiffin company, & is known for this brilliant "fused-glass" effect called "coraline" glass, made in a bas-relief, or raised 3-D effect, which makes a stunning display, with or without flowers in the vase.
I have owned this vase for many years, & this is the first time I have offered it for sale. It is in exceptional vintage condition with no defects that I can see.
Produced circa 1930 by the Tiffin company, most were unmarked but with a decisive appearance, this "Coraline" glass against a black satin glass background makes a stunning display either by itself or with flowers in its vase.
