Certainly given my limited knowledge of HACKNEY type HORSES .... this has to be a VERY RARE and HARD TO FIND EARLY EXAMPLE of what appears to be a COB TAIL HACKNEY HORSE (Hackney Horses are 14.2 Hands or Larger - Given the Trainer or Groom would be 5' 8" or so ....thus a HORSE.)  -----  ID'd on Reverse shows this is DON SEEVER at 6 YEARS OLD----  Photo shows embossed ID of the Photographer --- NAEF & JOSLIN 87 MAIN STREET - CONNEAUT, OHIO ---- Mounted Photo is right at 7" x 5 3/4".  Note the 4 Holes that shows at one time probably mounted in the Tack Room.  GREAT HISTORIC FIND and I tried to find the Hackney Registry .... didn't happen, Sorry. --- I LOVE MY JOB!
