This carrier uses SecureConnect™ buckles which use magnets as a guide and a secure latch to connect, making it easy and secure to get baby in and out. See picture 2 and 3.

There are 3 modes of use to grow with baby: facing-in newborn seat, facing-in baby seat, and facing-out baby seat. Integrated newborn seat for use from 8 lb with no additional insert necessary. See picture 5 for the three modes and ages ranges/weight recommendations for each mode.
