A really simple frock from the 1940's. It can be made shorter for the afternoon or longer
for swanky nights out! It's a really simple design with a corseted bodice that gathers
into the bust with belt ties for the day version. The skirt is one piece at the front and
two at the back. It closes with a placket at the left side.

The pattern is Bust 36 ins. No waist given as it was assumed you would fit it before
making. (usually around a 28 ins. waist)

There are no fabric suggestions on this pattern. Being the wartime rationing era,
anything you could get would usually do if you had the coupons!

The pattern comes with basic instructions to make and a helpful sewing guide
Like all things vintage please check your sizes and make a toile before committing
your fabric

Please note you are buying a reproduction of the pattern, not the original or finished dress.
