EXTREMELY RARE REMCO 1966 LOST IN SPACE HELMET W / ORIGINAL BOX.

Original Vintage "Lost in Space" Helmet with Original Box by Remco 1966, here is the Extremely Rare "Lost in Space" (LIS) Helmet WITH the Original box. This helmet , rarely ever appears on the market, particularly with the original box. We often see the Remco "Lost in Space" robot for sale, but NOT this incredibly rare Helmet with Box. “LOST IN SPACE" BOXED REMCO HELMET measures 8.5x9x9.5" tall cardboard box w/photo-illustrated label contains 9" tall plastic helmet based on the 1965-1968 Sci-Fi CBS TV show. Remco , 1966. Box is evenly aged and has remnant of store price sticker on front. The original price looks to of been $2.50. Original front color label is in very good condition with only light wear and displays beautifully. Small tear on inner flap and box edge. Overall a great looking box with no stains or writing. Box stands very square as these were a pretty heavy duty cardboard. Plastic helmet has original decal stickers, original chin guard and elastic strap which is still riveted in all 4 spots. Decals show wear throughout as pictured but are holding up nicely for their age. Plastic helmet has 5 / 6 crack lines on edges. (Most notable are) front left corner crack about 1 3/4” and runs just under front sticker and the back crack is about 1” and is visible on back left side. The others are very small. A drop or two of super glue can probably prevent any further damage but I will leave that up to the new owner. NOTE: The "Lost in Space" Remco Helmet was issued in Two Versions. One version was issued in a combo pack with a "Ray Gun". The other wa s issued with the Helmet only. The Helmet ONLY version with Original Helmet Box is actually MORE RARE! The Helmet Only Box had extra graphics on the side panels , whereas the Helmet/Gun Set box had the front Litho but Blank side panels . *The Reproduction boxes for the Helmet /Gun Set copied this Helmet ONLY Box and hence has graphics on side panels. However, the Helmet/Gun Set ORIGINAL Box had blank side panels . ONLY the Original " Helmet Only" Box had side graphics as you see here! A find of a lifetime!
