Roof copings, ridge caps or ridge tiles

This group of textures are designed to be cut in longitudinal strips to finish off the ridge or ridge tiles of roofs, sticking them at the angle formed by the joints of the roof planes, whether they are convergent (RT1) or divergent (RT2).

They are manufactured with the same acrylic resin as the rest of the textures and in the same colours as the textures of tiles, slates and other types of roofs.

These textures are reinforced with fibreglass, but they are not self-adhesive, as it is convenient, for a better application result, that the back of the texture is concave.

To glue this type of textures, we recommend using our new range of glues and correctors, in the main colours of our textures, but good results can also be obtained using other types of glues, for school use or white glue.

REDUTEX

3D texture sheets to make scale models.

  • For all types of surface.
  • Three-dimensional and Super realistic
  • Self-adhesive (sticker) and easy to work.
  • Each pack contains 300 x 120mm one sheet
  • Handmade product made in Spain.

The flexible, self-adhesive sheets are three-dimensionally structured featuring super realistic surfaces. Thus, they are ideal for creating roofs, walls, floor covers or streets.

  • The Texture can be cut in shape with scissors, a hobby knife or laser.
  • The 3D Textures can be applied on almost every surface (paperboard, cement, wood, styrofoam, polyurethane etc).
  • By heating up (for example, with a hair-dryer) you can realign the 3D Texture or remove it from the object a few hours after the first use.
  • Of course, the realistically pre-coloured 3D Texture can be also painted and weathered.
  • We recommend our Acrylic Colours and the various methods described in detail in the chapter "Colouring and Weathering".

How to use Redutex

  • True reproduction of textures on almost any scale
  • Its flexibility allows it to adapt to most shapes and figures, it can stretch, deform and fold. Applying gentle heat with your hands or a hairdryer helps accentuate these properties.
  • It is self-adhesive. The adhesive you have adheres to any clean and non-greasy surface.
  • The properties of the adhesive allow it to reposition itself during assembly, reaching a permanent solution in 24 hours.
  • The textured layer is so thin that it retains the scale appearance of the model while providing the relief that gives a hitherto unknown realism.
  • Wide range of textures.
  • It is very easy to work with that. It is easy to cut with scissors, blades and scalpels.
  • Durable properties
  • ATTENTION: It is best not to bend it at temperatures below 15º C (59º F)
