Audio Adapter - 1/8" female TRS to 1/4" male TS - Stereo to Mono
This is a Stereo to mono summing cable, that will combine the left and right audio from a 3.5mm female mini jack into a single mono signal via the 1/4" male jack, for use with a 3.5mm for plugging a playback device into mono input on a mixer or guitar amp.

True Stereo Signal Combination into Mono
This handy little adapter enables the user to plug a 1/8" (3.5mm) stereo TRS cable, into a 1/4" (6.35mm) input. This adapter will combine both the left and right channels of audio from a headphone mini jack into a single mono signal containing equal parts of both the left and right channels. Great for plugging an ipod or laptop into a mono input on a mixer or guitar amp.

Split a Mono Signal into a 'Stereo' Signal
Can also be used in the opposite fashion, to split a mono signal from a 1/4" jack connector, into 2 identical signals that will pass through the Tip and Ring of the 3.5mm mini jack connector. Ideal for recording a mono signal into stereo line level jacks on PC sound cards.

NOTE: This adapter is not suitable for use as a headphone adapter. If using with a stereo device (Ipod, MP3, Laptop), only one channel of the music will be heard. To hear both channels, use a Stereo TRS adapter.
