SUPER RARE STAMP VINTAGE 1 CENT GEORGE WASHINGTON U.S. POSTAGE STAMP 1789-1797.

NOT SUPER RARE !

I am listing these very low value extremely common stamps on eBay to help the under knowledgeable stamp collectors from making a regrettable purchase.

The above dates 1789-1797 has nothing to do with the age of the stamps but rather the years George Washington was president. The actual dates these stamps were in production was 1938-1954.
The stamps were the usps work horse stamps and were printed in the hundreds of millions.

The Scott Catalog numbers for the 1 cent green stamps are 804/804b/839/848. The different catalog
numbers refer to the different type of stamps. Sheet / booklet / horizonal coil / vertical coil stamps.
The corresponding catalog values for mint & never hinged = .25 / .25 / .30 / .85
The corresponding catalog values for used                         = .25 / .25 / .25 / .25
And the .25 SCV is the minimum price they put on a stamp.

I'm listing these stamps mainly for informational purposes. The cost & time of listing such low value stamps prohibits me from selling them for the .25 Scott Catalog Value. At stamp shows they can be found on the kid's table for nickel a piece.

These are all stock pictures, as it is not worth the time to scan these very low value stamps each time someone happens to purchase them. They may be hinged or MNH (mint not hinged)
