Up for auction is a beautiful cover from a Germany prisoner of war, POW, mailed from Kurume Japan to Shanghai China from the Prisoner of War camp in Japan. In excellent condition. Priced to sell. Excellent stamp, cancels and markings. Postmarked November 18, 1914. Covers to and from Germany POWs held by Japan in World War 1 are exceptionally rare.

This is from the Temple Camp in Kurume which opened in October 1914 with 50 Germanys captured before the fall of Tsingtau. Closed June 15.
