4 Beautiful ABP Open Salt Cellars Manufactured by Hawkes during 1876 to 1917 Rare Unmarked.

This set of 4 beautiful salt cellars manufactured during the American Brilliant Period by T. G. Hawkes.

This particular open salt cellars has a flat rim with cuts on the edges of the rim. It has deep cut feather and fan design around the bowl with rayed star on the base.

It measures 1.75" across the diameter and is 1" tall.

It is referenced in the open salt guide, H&J #3077, although unidentified. It is identified in the accompanying 2002-03 Rarity and Price Guide as a signed Hawkes.

During my researching, I found a website about Hawkes trademark which explained that there was a period between 1891 - 1900 when a paper label was used, before Hawkes acid etch trademark, which would also provide the age of this magnificent salt cellars. They are unmarked, but double check that. If anyone can provide a reference to confirm it as Hawkes or confirm that it isn't, I'd appreciate the reference.

Condition: They all have small and fine chips to bottom and one on the rim!
